Instead of hoping you miss our mistakes we would just like to let you know that we have already kicked ourselves and will correct them in the next production run.

One of our goals was to produce everything in America, and yes ladies and gentlemen it can be done.

We had some great toolmakers that helped design a tool that could make several sets of different pieces in the same mold block greatly reducing our costs. The drawback is that the pieces do not just twist off the plastic runner easily. We put a note in the box and it shows you another option to make it easier and keep you from breaking the pieces.

Our rulebook could use some picture examples, yet the cost and timing was tight to make our release at Origins Game Fair 2011. We also let spell check do the work; so instead of “tank turret” the rules say “tank torrent” and we missed it.

On the back of the box it says the rulebook is 10 pages when it is really 12 pages.

On pages 6 and 11 in the rule book, there were some clarification and some correction needed, which are now posted on our web site.

We have launched this Engage web site to offer downloads of an updated Rule book and its clarifications, Frequently Asked Questions, Player-Aid, Variation for Advanced gamers, and hopefully have picture examples and video examples soon.

We wanted to make a game that played in less then 90 minutes, with limited down time, required skill in which player’s were in control of their decisions. The game starts with the opponents in attack range. We could have had the players start farther apart but that would have added additional length to the game with little interaction of players moving units. We also wanted to create something new with no cards and no dice and a system that allows you to fake an attack to draw down your opponent’s resources. Lastly, we went with a generic battlefield to allow you to exchange countries and attempt different strategies.
